Welcome to the Riverhouse Port Fairy

Riverhouse has five bedrooms. Over the first two levels there are two queen rooms and two twin singles. On the third level is a private queen room with en suite. Each level has a separate bathroom and toilet.

To the left, as you come into the house, you will find a pleasant room equipped with television and DVD. This room opens onto a large entertaining deck. To the right there is a fully equipped laundry and a separate billiard room.

As you come up the stairs, you will enter the main living area. The large kitchen looks over a second large deck with BBQ, and is fully equipped for family living or entertaining. There is a dining area and a living area that offers television, DVD and CD or a place to sit and relax. The whole area is open plan to take advantage of the lovely view of the Moyne River.

Riverhouse is one of the few five bedroom houses available in Port Fairy, which makes it ideal for groups visiting the famous Port Fairy Golf Course or those wishing to share their holidays with another family.

Riverhouse and surrounds offer many attractions. The house is located at the East Beach only a short walk across the river foot bridge to the centre of Port Fairy. On the two main streets, Bank and Sackville, you will find boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, wine bars, a day spa and galleries. East Beach is the main swimming and surfing beach and caters for all abilities. Riverhouse has ample off street parking for boats and cars and is just along the road from the boat ramp, making fishing, boating or sailing a dream.

Port Fairy is sort after during the wedding season and provides many opportunities for bird watching, walking, scuba diving & surfing. There are also music festivals, the most famous being the Folk Festival and the Spring Music Festival amongst many. There are a number of galleries in a strong artistic community. You could use the house as a finishing point of a gastronomic tour of southwest Victoria. The house suits itself to a week or weekend away with the girls/boys and even in winter it is great to curl up in the window with a book and watch the winter storms coming up the river.
