Port Fairy Week 12th August

Blarney Books & Arts current Biblio-Art exhibition finishes up later this month, and in September, they are hosting Helen and Des of The Customs House Gallery (Hawkesdale) who will show their annual children's book illustration exhibition, always a great favourite.  

Robyn & Brian from Wishart Gallery are continuing their Friday evenings “Words, Wine and Conversation” Friday evenings 6 – 7.30pm.   Over the next  few Fridays they will be reading and talking about the “great romantics” in poetry,  tonight William Blake, Friday 26th William Wordsworth and Samuel Coleridge and September 2nd Byron, Shelley and Keats – the “rock stars” of their era.   Go along for a great evening.  (see flyer attached)

Wednesday 17th
The St Kilda Film Festival 7.30pm Two one hour sessions.
The Port Fairy Film Society is excited to again host the best films from Australia’s top short film festival. Each year 100 of Australia’s most creative filmmakers screen their films in the St Kilda Film Festival.
Eleven of the best are chosen for a National Tour. New technologies encourage storytellers with a creative vision to share their insights and image through film. Short Film festivals bring the best to light. Many major feature films have their genesis in short films. This year’s program has a wonderful range from the professional to the skilled amateur.
